Why I Publish This Data
Thyroid patients have been asking me for years: Do thyroid supplements actually work? My answer has always been the same, absolutely, because I’ve seen them work first hand. But now you don’t have to take my word for it. I created this database of patient outcomes to show thyroid patients what they should expect when using thyroid support supplements. I took every verified post-purchase review from my third-party review aggregator (Stamped.io), including 1 and 2 star reviews, and analyzed them. How We Gather and Analyze This Data
Our methodology in three steps, applied identically to every product report.
Collected
16,227 verified post-purchase reviews collected through Stamped.io across the full RestartMed product catalog.
Filtered
For each product, reviews are sorted by star rating. The 4 and 5 star subset is isolated for symptom analysis.
Analyzed
The high-rated subset is text-analyzed using proximity-based pattern matching, validated against manually-classified samples of 50 reviews per product. For smaller datasets, every high-rated review is read in full and manually tagged.

What this dataset is, and what it is not.
- Observational analysis: This is a real-world observational analysis of self-selected reviewers, not a controlled clinical trial. Patients who choose to leave reviews may differ systematically from those who do not.
- Review collection: All reviews are tied to a verified purchase order. Customers receive a small discount coupon as a thank-you for submitting any review, regardless of star rating or content.
- No filtering: Reviews are not edited, filtered, or selectively published based on rating. Both the 4 and 5 star reviews used for symptom analysis and the 1, 2, and 3 star reviews remain visible in the public Stamped.io feed on each product page.
- Validated text-analysis: Our proximity-based pattern matching was validated against a manually-classified sample of 50 random reviews per product to confirm classification accuracy. For smaller datasets (under 500 reviews), every high-rated review is read in full and manually tagged.
- Catalog scope: The 16,227 review base represents the full RestartMed Stamped.io catalog. The 13,596 reviews analyzed in the 22 outcome reports above represent the highest-volume products and bundles. Smaller-catalog products are not yet covered by their own report.
- Living document: Outcome reports are updated periodically as new reviews accumulate.
