How This Directory Is Different
Most doctor directories list everyone with a license. This one doesn’t.
Every doctor here was vetted for how they actually practice: whether they test the full thyroid panel (free T3, reverse T3, and antibodies), whether they treat to optimal ranges instead of just normal ranges, and whether they’re open to medications like NDT and T3 when they make sense.
Some were nominated by patients like you. Some I know through my own work with thyroid patients. All of them had to meet the same standard, and no doctor can pay to be listed or to look better here.
How This List Was Made
I started with every board certified endocrinologist in the country, plus the independent thyroid-focused practices most directories miss, and then did the thing no other directory does: I checked how each one actually practices.
The vetting reads each provider’s own published approach. If their site says they test reverse T3, prescribe NDT, or treat to optimal ranges, that becomes a badge, and the evidence is saved with a date and source. Patient recommendations go through the same filter: a real person reviews every single one before anyone is listed.
Providers who haven’t finished vetting yet are labeled that way right on their card, so you always know how much due diligence sits behind a listing. And nobody can pay to be included, ranked higher, or look better. Not now, not ever.
What the Badges Mean
The badges on each card come from the doctor’s own published approach and from patient nominations. “Tests reverse T3” means exactly that. “Recommended by patients” counts real nominations that a real person reviewed. If a badge isn’t there, it just means we haven’t confirmed it yet.
Don’t See Your Doctor?

And if your state looks empty, check the telehealth filter. Many of the best thyroid doctors now see patients in most states online.
