What the badges mean
Every badge comes from the provider’s own published approach, from reviewed patient reports, or from public federal prescribing data, with the date and source saved. A missing badge just means we haven’t confirmed it yet. One note on provider types: DCs (chiropractors), RDNs (dietitians), and health coaches generally can’t write prescriptions, which is exactly what the prescriber filter is for.

Why I Created This Directory
Thyroid patients often need more care than they get from standard family practitioners and endocrinologists. Why? Most thyroid patients, in order to feel better, need a doctor who’s willing to look beyond just the TSH and free T4.
This directory was created to find the doctors who do just that.
Every doctor here was checked for how they actually practice: whether they test the full thyroid panel (free T3, reverse T3, and antibodies), whether they treat to optimal ranges instead of just normal ranges, and whether they stay open to medications like NDT and T3 when they make sense.
