Description

Increase Free T3 Levels Naturally with T3 Conversion Booster

T3 Conversion Booster contains 10 unique and specific ingredients designed to help the 3 most important pathways involved in thyroid function in your body:

#1. T4 to T3 Conversion (this may be the most important)

#2. Thyroid Cellular Sensitivity

#3. Thyroid Hormone Biosynthesis (the creation of thyroid hormone)

These 3 steps help your body not only create thyroid hormone but also allow that thyroid hormone to be active at the cellular level.

Due to nutrient deficiencies, poor diet, and soil depletion, many patients may end up with sub-optimal levels of these specific and unique ingredients.

The replacement of these nutrients has been shown in clinical studies to help improve thyroid hormone levels if deficient (please see literary citations and studies below).

Thyroid regulation and control

T3 Conversion Booster was designed to help patients stuck in the conventional treatment paradigm of T4 only thyroid treatment. These patients are often on T4 only medications such as Levothyroxine, Tirosint, and Synthroid.

In this setting taking supplements designed to increase free T3 levels may actually improve thyroid function overall.

This can be accomplished by replacing nutrient deficiencies, by reducing inflammation and by promoting thyroid hormone biosynthesis.

T3, T4, Reverse T3 & Basic Thyroid Physiology

You probably know about T4 and TSH but do you know about T3 and reverse T3?

When it comes to thyroid function ALL of these measures are important and helpful in correctly diagnosing thyroid dysfunction in the body.

T4 and TSH are routinely tested by physicians but T3 and Reverse T3 may not be tested unless specifically asked for.

And this is incredibly important for the following reasons:

#1. T4 is the INACTIVE thyroid hormone in your body (Thyroid medications like Synthroid, Levothyroxine, and Tirosint contain T4)

#2. T3 is the ACTIVE thyroid hormone in your body (Your body must turn T4 into T3 in order for it to be active)

#3. Reverse T3 is an INACTIVE thyroid metabolite that may compete with T3 levels in your body

Thyroid conversion with leptin resistance

As you can see, your T3 and reverse T3 levels give you information about peripheral conversion in your body.

And that’s where T3 conversion booster steps in…

T3 Conversion Booster contains ingredients, nutrients, and supplements specifically involved in the conversion process of T4 the inactive thyroid hormone to T3 the active thyroid hormone.

Increasing T4 to T3 conversion will also help reduce reverse T3 levels and may help thyroid status in your overall body.

Understanding this basic physiology is critical because it allows you to take your health into your own hands and do what you can to help increase thyroid function beyond simply taking thyroid hormone medication.

Symptoms of Low T3 & Signs you Need More

Did you know that you can still have hypothyroid or low thyroid symptoms even though you are taking thyroid hormone replacement medication?

These symptoms may stem from an underlying problem known as low T3 syndrome.

Low T3 syndrome may result in hypothyroid symptoms even though your TSH and free T4 levels may be relatively normal.

T3 is the single most important thyroid hormone because it is THE active thyroid hormone in your body.

How do you know if you have low T3?

You can assess your T3 levels with serum laboratory tests such as Free T3, but you can also find low T3 levels through clinical assessment of your symptoms.

Symptoms of Low T3 include (remember that these symptoms may persist even though you are taking thyroid hormone replacement):

  • Weight gain despite healthy eating and exercise
  • Cold hands and extremities despite taking thyroid medication
  • Swelling, especially around the eyes
  • Fatigue or low energy
  • Menstrual irregularities
  • Low body temperature and/or low resting heart rate
  • Hair loss, brittle hair and/or brittle nails
  • Depression, anxiety or mood changes
  • Chronic constipation

The presence of these symptoms may indicate persistent thyroid dysfunction and should prompt further testing and evaluation for nutrient deficiencies involved in thyroid hormone conversion and production.

T3 Conversion Booster contains specific ingredients that may help promote these important cellular pathways.

Using Thyroid Conversion Booster with Thyroid Hormone

Can T3 Conversion Booster be taken if you are taking thyroid medication?

Yes, it was designed to be used both with thyroid hormone medication and without.

The idea behind T3 Conversion Booster is to help naturally increase T4 to T3 conversion while naturally decreasing T4 to Reverse T3 conversion.

One of the big problems with current thyroid hormone replacement therapy is that Doctors provide patients with T4 only thyroid medications such as Synthroid or Levothyroxine.

Taking T4 only thyroid medications such as these is fine IF your body is capable of converting T4 to T3.

Unfortunately, this is NOT the case for the majority of patients.

Factors such as stress, nutrient deficiencies, hormone imbalances, inflammation, chronic pain and depression all BLUNT the T4 to T3 conversion process and may make taking T4 only thyroid medication less effective.

T3 Conversion Booster is designed to help this problem by reducing inflammation and providing your body with the nutrients required for thyroid hormone conversion and cellular sensitivity.

T3 Conversion Booster can safely be taken in conjunction with thyroid hormone replacement therapy but we recommend that you use this supplement 4 hours after taking your thyroid hormone.

While it is unlikely that T3 conversion Booster will negatively impact thyroid hormone absorption, we still recommend that these supplements be spaced apart.

The Complete Ingredient List

  • Vitamin A (as retinyl palmitate) 1500 IU
  • Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 200 IU
  • Vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopheryl succinate) 50 IU
  • Iodine (from organic celandic kelp)(Laminaria digitata)(stem and leaf) 75mcg
  • Zinc (as zinc citrate) 5mg
  • Selenium (as L-selenomethionine) 100mcg
  • Guggulsterones (from guggul extract) Commiphora mukul)(gumexudate) 50mg
  • Rosemary Extract (Rosemarinus officinalis)(leaf) 50mg
  • Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera)(root) 50mg

The recommended dose of TCB is 2 capsules each day.

The T4 to T3 Conversion Blend (Help increase peripheral thyroid conversion)*

T3 Conversion Booster is specifically designed to contain ingredients that help boost thyroid conversion. This unique blend of ingredients helps the body increase the natural T4 to T3 conversion process by providing the necessary nutrients for this process and by helping to reduce inflammation which can act to reduce this process.

  • Guggulsterones –> Studies have shown that guggulsterone may exhibit a strong thyroid stimulatory action when taken daily, in addition, studies have shown that guggul extract increases iodine-uptake and enhances thyroid peroxidase function.*
  • Rosemary Extract –> This powerful anti-oxidant helps reduce inflammatory levels in the body and may help improve T4 to T3 conversion through this mechanism. Rosemary has also been shown to help improve cognition and may act as both an anxiolytic and anti-depressant.* (See literary references below)*
  • Ashwagandha –> Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic supplement that has been shown to help increase T4 and T3 levels, normalize TSH levels in patients with subclinical hypothyroidism and help improve cortisol regulation. This isn’t even taking into account the beneficial effects that Ashwagandha has on weight loss and the building of muscle mass. These benefits make Ashwagandha one of the premiere thyroid nutrients.*
  • Zinc –> Zinc acts as an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory agent in the body. Zinc also helps promote T4 to T3 conversion and many patients are zinc deficient.*
  • Selenium –> Selenium helps improve immune function and also helps promote T4 to T3 conversion and works very well when combined with zinc.*

The Thyroid Cellular Sensitivity Blend (Help improve thyroid cellular function)*

In addition to boosting T4 to T3 conversion, your body must also be able to adequately utilize thyroid hormone at the cellular level. Several nutrients have been identified to be involved in this process and these ingredients are included in T3 conversion booster.

  • Vitamin A –> Vitamin A deficiency results in a reduction in total T3, total T4, Free T3 and free T4 which improves upon replacement. Furthermore, Vitamin A therapy appears to be involved in the enzymatic conversion of T4 to T3 in addition to thyroid cellular action.*
  • Zinc –> In addition to improving T4 to T3 conversion, zinc also may help promote thyroid cellular function.*

The Thyroid Biosynthesis Blend (Help your body produce more thyroid hormone)*

  • Iodine –> Iodine creates the backbone of thyroid hormone and is required in optimal amounts for proper thyroid hormone production. Low iodine may result in reduced thyroid function and hypothyroidism. Regulatory bodies recommend 150mcg of iodine daily for non-pregnant and non-lactating women and up to 220 to 290mcg per day for pregnant and lactating women while the average American daily consumption of iodine is estimated to be around 130mg per day. This creates up to a 20mcg to 90mcg deficiency in iodine per day in individuals unless they are actively consuming iodine-rich foods.
  • Vitamin D3 –> Patients with low thyroid function and more likely to have low levels of Vitamin D. In addition, the severity of hypothyroidism tracks closely with the degree of Vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D also plays an important role in immune function and low levels increase the risk of developing an autoimmune disease such as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.
  • Vitamin E –> Vitamin E helps protect the integrity of your cell membranes and acts as a powerful anti-oxidants which may indirectly help improve thyroid function.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.) How do you take T3 Conversion Booster?

If using to improve thyroid function it is recommended that you take 2 capsules by mouth each day.

At 2 capsules each day this supplement will provide 60 days worth of therapy.

Some people may benefit from taking 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the afternoon/evening, especially for those with high reverse T3 levels or very low T3 levels.

Start with 2 capsules per day and adjust dosing as necessary.

2.) How long should I take T3 Conversion booster?

We recommend that you use T3 Conversion Booster for at least 3-6 months for best results.

Therapy can be continued safely beyond the 3-6 month mark as well.

3.) Are there side effects when using this supplement?

T3 Conversion Booster is very well tolerated with minimal side effects.

4.) Can this supplement be used with thyroid hormone replacement therapy?

Yes, T3 Conversion Booster can be used with thyroid hormone replacement therapy and other thyroid medications.

This supplement is also particularly helpful if used with T4 only thyroid medications such as Levothyroxine, Synthroid, and Tirosint.

It is recommended that you take T3 Conversion Booster 4 hours after your thyroid medication to ensure proper thyroid hormone absorption in the GI tract.

5.) Does this product contain inactive fillers or binders? Is it gluten-free?

T3 Conversion Booster does NOT contain wheat, gluten, yeast, soy protein, dairy products, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, or artificial preservatives.

6.) Is Iodine safe to take in this supplement if I have Hashimoto’s or Thyroid disease?

Yes! Especially if Iodine is combined with Selenium which helps the body produce thyroid hormone and protect against damage.

Iodine is required for optimal thyroid hormone production and your body needs on average about 150mcg of Iodine per day. Normally you get this iodine from iodinated products like salt or from seaweed, but healthy individuals tend to get salt products such as Himalayan pink salt or Celtic sea salt which may not contain iodine at all. In addition, it is rare that people from the US eat enough seaweed each week to get their daily amount of Iodine. As a result, many patients may suffer from suboptimal iodine levels.

Each serving of T3 Conversion Booster contains 75mcg of Iodine which also comes with Selenium which has been shown in studies to prevent negative effects of Iodine by itself. With any product that contains Iodine, it is best if you start slow and increase your dose as tolerated.

Please read

For the past 60 days I have taken a combination of the T3 Conversion Booster (I ran out 2 weeks ago and all the symptoms came flooding back), Thyroid Adrenal Reset complex, and Ultra Biotic X100 with some relief, but not enough. I'm willing to try another 2 months as I am desperate.

Starting at age 15, doctors would comment on the size of my thyroid, and as a precautionary method, would request to have my labs checked. My labs always came back normal. But, I don't feel normal, and seem to be getting worse.

I experience extreme fluctuations throughout the days of the month yet month to month is fairly consistent (I've been tracking for over 2 years). I have moments of feeling so heavy I can barley function, I can hardly keep my balance to walk, my body temperature will drop and run in the low 9o's, i tend to have low blood pressure, long and heavy menstruation, thin and brittle hair, thin and dry skin, under-eye bags, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, brain fog, and I struggle to put on weight.

Yet, according to the General Practitioners, Endocrinologists, Allergist, Gastroenterology, OBGYN, and Midwifes, I am healthy 38 year old, 5'6", 113 lbs female. I eat nutrient dense foods, cook from scratch, garden, exercise, practice mindful living, take long walks in nature, go on bike rides with my children, and meditate. All in addition to seeking out a degree in the Physician Assistant program. I take the above supplements with the inclusion of a liquid iron. I am doing everything I can think of to combat my symptoms, yet, I fear I am getting worse, not better.

What am I missing? How long do I have to stay on the T3 conversion? Why do I still have these extreme fluctuations and imbalances? Please help

Hi Rachael, Thanks for sharing your story! It seems that if you are getting some relief using T3 conversion booster then it may be helping, but it may be insufficient as a therapy by itself. Some people with thyroid disease may need prescribed thyroid medication and these supplements are not a substitute for prescription medication. If you are still feeling poorly despite taking the supplements then you may need to look into a complete thyroid panel and consider using thyroid medication if indicated. You will specifically want to look at your free T3, total T3 and reverse T3. Hope this helps get you started on the right track!

Great stuff!

I've only been taking this for less than a month now but can see great results! My goiter has not returned, I feel like when paired with my NP Thyroid Rx this gives it the extra boost I'm needing! I have an appt to check my thyroid levels in less than 2 weeks and will know for sure if this is doing the job! I can't wait to see more results with continued use!

Hi Kourtney, Thanks for sharing your story and I'm glad it is helping :) Many people use this in combination with their medication with positive results!
